The project microrevolt.org is against sweatshops and they revolt with knitting! (deutsch: Stricken) The basic idea is to knit accessoires with logos from labels who support sweatshops. They also have a pedition made of wool: it is a large scale blanket that shows the nike-logo. The blanket is made of patchworks - every single patchwork is contributed by someone who “subscribed” this pedition of wool. Right now they are collecting patches for the border of the blanket. So feel free to contribute your piece of wool now!

For me the most interesting thing is the knitPro-application they have on the website. With this you are able to upload an image and transform it into knit, crochet, needlepoint and cross-stitch patterns. They have also an instruction to get into the ancient technique of knitting. All is round up with links to very interesting knit- and anti-sweatshop organisations.
